ISABEL D. MARTINEZ
EDINBURG- Isabel D. Martinez, 90, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019, at his residence in Edinburg.
He was born in Alamo, Texas on October 31, 1928, to Eligio and Dionicia Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his two sons, Juan Jose Martinez and Ruben Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Barbara Martinez; four children, Ramiro (Teresa) Martinez of Beaverton, OR, Maria J. (John) Brosy of Salem, OR, Ernestina (Daniel) Tisler of Herndon, VA, and Isabel (Criselda) Martinez Jr. of Edinburg, TX; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2019, and with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
