DESIDERIO C. MARTINEZ
SAN JUAN – Desiderio C. Martinez, 93, died Monday, January 22, 2018, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by three children, Juan Manuel Martinez, Jose Rene Martinez, and Mary Jane Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Juana Maria Martinez; four sons, Desiderio Martinez Jr., Jose Luis Martinez, Alejandro Martinez, Fernando (Jessica) Martinez, all of San Juan; two daughters, Beatrice (Omar) Salinas of Pharr, Rosalinda (Ruben) Davila of Houston; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. today, January 24, 2018, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
