MCALLEN- Martha Hernandez Perez, 79, died Monday, March 10, 2025, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Maria Hernandez; and a brother, Cirilo Hernandez.
Martha is survived by her children, Leyda (Eleazar) Guajardo, Wanda (Scott) Croft, Gamavera and Hervey Vera; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maria Antonia Tienda.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
