MARTHA EUGENIA GONZALES

SAN JUAN – Martha Eugenia Gonzales died October 8th, 2025; she was 62.

 Martha is survived by her husband Juan, son Jordan and daughter Jessica. She was born in Chicago, IL, September 12th, 1963; went to school in Apodaca, N.L. and later lived in San Juan, TX.

She was born in Chicago and lived there up until she was to attend primary school in Nuevo León Mexico. As a teenager she joined the Lions club and volunteered at a community center for children. In college, she graduated with a degree in Psychology. After marriage, her and her husband moved to the Rio Grande Valley; and she found work as a dental receptionist. She loved getting to know and meet new people. Some became very close family friends over the years. Louie and Minda Salinas, Terri and Rene Rodriguez, Dora Amaro, Dr. David and Dale Adame, Dr. Larry and Norma Balli. Martha was a kind, genuine, compassionate person; generous and loving to everyone she met. We will miss her dearly.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. with a 1 p.m. Memorial Service Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
