MARTA ESCOBEDO BARREIRO

Marta Escobedo Barreiro 77, passed away, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at her residence in Mission.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria and Josefina Escobedo; and two siblings, Jose and Bertha Escobedo.

Marta is survived by her husband, Alfredo Barreiro; three children, Alfredo (Maria) Barreiro Jr., Marta Alicia (Johnny) Barreiro, Aleena (Ricardo) Flores; six grandchildren, Sol Ines Barreiro, Sebastiano Alfredo Barreiro, Demetrius Miguel Flores, Nicolas Ali Flores, Dallas Danielle Cantu, Delia Rebecca Flores; and seven siblings, Dora, Rene, Delia, Josie, Ramiro, Julian and Minerva.

Cremation took place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Memorial Service on Friday, June 26,2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
