JULIA MARMOLEJO
EDINBURG – Julia Marmolejo, 74, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in Poth, Texas, Mrs. Marmolejo had lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos.
Mrs. Marmolejo is survived by her husband, Refugio Marmolejo of Edinburg; eight children, Juan (Yanira) Marmolejo of Houston, Texas, Refugio Marmolejo, Jr., Juanita (Alex) Marmolejo, Virginia (Oscar) Aleman, Raul (Sandra) Marmolejo and Diana (Jaime) Puente all of Edinburg, Ricardo (Deyanira) Marmolejo of Harlingen, and Maria Elena (Fred) Herrera of San Antonio, Texas; 25 grandchildren; a sister, Maria Coronado; of McAllen and a brother, Santiago Coronado of Wyoming.
A rosary was held Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today, October 8, 2010, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
