MARIA DEL CONSUELO SOTO

HIDALGO- Maria Del Consuelo Soto, 89, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, at McAllen Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Soto Jr. Hinojosa; and a son, Indalecio Soto De Leon.

Maria is survived by her ten children; Dellanira Soto (Jesus) Garcia, Mireya (Ezequiel) Espinosa, Indalecio (Patricia) Soto, Adriana (Ismael) Espinoza, Idalia (Horacio) Ortiz, Pedro (Selena) Soto III, Audelia (Mario A.) Sotelo, Maria del Rosario (Juan Oziel) Guzman, Haydee (Jaime F.) Castillo, Kameryna (Jose Ruben) Palomo; 38 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
