MCALLEN – Maria Patricia Oyervides, 53, died Sunday, March 8, 2026, at her residence in McAllen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Lopez Rivera and Zenaida Bernal.

Mrs. Oyervides is survived by her husband, Efrain Oyervides Toral; her children, Gloria Patricia (Jesus) Rodriguez, Jocelynn (Daniel Humberto, Jr.) Salas, Abril Oyervides, Efrain Oyervides, Louyx Galilea Oyervides; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be beginning at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
