Pharr – Maria Jesusa Munoz, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Maria Luisa Gonzalez; and siblings, Armando Gonzalez, Aureliano Gonzalez and Carolina Acosta.
Maria Jesusa is survived by her two children, Jorge (Monica) Munoz, and Belinda (Ramiro) Zamorano; three grandchildren, Natalie Aileen Munoz, Leanndra Eva Zamorano and Ramiro Zamorano III and; six siblings, Pedro Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, Ramiro Gonzalez, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Francisca Gonzalez and Maria Luisa Cantu.
Visitation will begin at 12 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, November 9, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2026, at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
