Maria Teresa Morales, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Morales Sr.; a daughter, Christina Morales; parents, Jose Angel and Maria C. Borrego.
Mrs. Morales is survived by her four children, David (Norma) Morales Jr., Edward (Carmel) Morales, Jose Noe (Zulma) Morales, Rolando (Loida) Morales; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; ten siblings, Jose (Cynthia) Borrego Jr., Carmen Balderas, Ricardo (Dora) Borrego, Angelita (Jesus) Zurita, Rosa (Jesus) Cantu, Estella (Samuel) Herrera, Margarita (Charles) Salvia, Maria Isabel (Bob) Breen, Rodolfo (Iris) Borrego, Roberto Borrego; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
