She is preceded in death by her mother, Amada Zoila Macias de Sanchez.

Maria is survived by her father, Jose Guillermo Sanchez Fernandez de Carmona; five siblings, Lucilla Villarreal, Veronica De Pilar Sanchez, Daniel Antonio Sanchez, Guillermo Enrique Sanchez, and Miguel Sanchez.

Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
