MARIA JUANA DELGADO
EDINBURG – Maria Juana Delgado, 89, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, at South Texas Health System in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Delgado Sr.; parents, Gamaliel and Francisca Miranda.
Mrs. Delgado is survived by her nine children, Gustavo (Paulina) Delgado, Enrique (Rose) Delgado, Guadalupe (Juan) Peralez, Humberto Delgado, Juan (Yolanda) Delgado Jr., Rene Delgado, Gerardo (Antonia) Delgado, Sonia (Gilbert) Martinez, Salomon (Alma) Delgado; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Teresa Garcia, Petra Cedillo, Manuel Miranda, Roble Mayo, Elva Vaquera, Oscar Miranda, Humberto Miranda, and Nora Avalos.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, August 11, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
