Maria Isaura Garza

San Juan – Maria Garza, 80, passed away, October 7, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.

Maria is survived by her loving husband; Arturo Garza de la Garza, three children; Pablo Alberto Garza, Norma Idalia (Leonso) Mendez, and Adriana (Miguel) Hernandez, and nine grandchildren; Pablo Alberto Garza Hernandez, Joycelin Berenice Garza, Eric Ivan Mendez, Erica Alejandra Mendez, Samantha Sauceda, Daniela Michelle Uribe, Fabiola Yamile Vazquez, Isela Marie Mendez, and Leticia Isaura Perez , 21 Great-grandchildren and siblings Anarbol Garcia, Juan Miguel Garcia, Hilda Moreno, Berta Maldonando, Consuelo Salazar and Nora Garcia.

She is preceded in death by her son; Arturo Garza Garcia, parents; Anarbol Garcia and Delfina Torres, and siblings; Tomasita Cruz, Oscar,David,Antonio, Leonardo, Carlos and Alfredo Garcia.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14,2026 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
