MARIA GUADALUPE GOMEZ

EDINBURG – Maria Guadalupe Gomez, 75, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at her residence in Edinburg. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Gomez and Antonia Vazquez; a son, Gerardo Cano; a granddaughter, Jemma Ramos; and three sisters. 

Mrs. Gomez is survived by her five children, Rodolfo Gomez; Antonia Cano, Dorinda (Fernando) Valencia, Clarissa (Billy Taylor) Cano, Melissa (Jose) Ramos; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and the father of her children, Francisco Cano.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, September 23, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
