Maria Eva Lopez
Pharr – Maria Eva Lopez, 78, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at her residence in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joel Trevino and Enedina Elizondo; son, Julio Lopez; two siblings, Jose Trevino and Maria Elena Trevino; and grandson, Robbie Lopez.
Maria is survived by her husband, Roberto Lopez; five children, Norma Longoria, Roberto Lopez, Moises Lopez, David Lopez, and Joshua Lopez; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four siblings, Rueben Trevino, Lupe Trevino, Roel Trevino, and Maria Ponce.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
