Maria De La Paz Dimas

Alamo – Maria Dimas, 90, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026, at The Heights of Alamo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Constancio Dimas; a granddaughter, Sandra Dimas; a grandson, Benjamin Dimas; her parents, Silvestre and Maria Cantu; and a sister, Octavia Moreno.

Maria is survived by her nine children, Constancio (Margarita) Dimas, Efrain (Alejandra) Dimas, Alberto Dimas, Samuel (Criselda) Dimas, Jose Dimas, Gerardo Dimas, Juan Carlos (Lori Ann) Dimas, Esmeralda (Alfredo) Lopez, and Oscar Dimas; 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven siblings, Olga Moreno, Maria Luisa Moreno, Olivia Rodriguez, Martha Moreno, Ricardo Moreno, Roberto Moreno, and Carlos Moreno.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
