McAllen – Maria de Jesus Garza, 80, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026, at her residence in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Maria Garza Rodriguez; parents, Luis and Maria Rodriguez Gonzalez; and two siblings Alicia Rodriguez Gonzalez and Juan Rodriguez Gonzalez.
Maria is survived by her sons, Jesus Mario Garza Rodriguez, Jorge Alonso Garza Rodriguez, and Juan Guadalupe Garza Rodriguez; four grandchildren, Jesus Mario Garza Rodriguez, Susan Arlette Garza Rodriguez, Samantha Arecy Garza Ramos, Sabrina Elizabeth Garza Ramos; two great grandchildren, Frida Garza Gutierrez and Dario Reyna Garza; and six siblings, Rosa Rodriguez Gonzalez, Jose Rodriguez Gonzalez, Martha Rodriguez Gonzalez,Teresa Rodriguez Gonzalez, Patricia Rodriguez Gonzalez and Luis Rodriguez Gonzalez.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
