Maria Del Socorro "Coco" Aranda, 76, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cayetano and Juana Maria Cabrieles.
Mrs. Aranda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Salomon Aranda Jr.; a son, Cesar Rene (Lisa) Aranda; a grandson, Cesario Salomon Aranda; and three sinlings, Gualberto Cabrieles, Preciliano Cabrieles, and Maria Del Carmen C. Gomez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, July 31, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
