MARGARITA RUNKLE
EDINBURG - Margarita Runkle, 72, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Runkle Jr.; parents, Jose Quintana and Guadalupe Dominguez.
Mrs. Runkle is survived by her five children, Veronica Leal (John Woodward), Rolando Garza Jr. (Rachel), Sam Smiles, John Runkle III, Sara Renteria (John Michael) ; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
Cremation took place at Memorial Cremation Center, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
