MARCELINO OLIVAREZ JR.
EDINBURG – Marcelino Olivarez Jr., 77, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Hortencia Olivarez Sr.; brother, Omar Olivarez; in-laws, Alejo and Sara Garcia.
Mr. Olivarez is survived by his wife, Nelda Olivarez; two children, Marcelino (Martha) Olivarez III, Iris Olivarez (Aaron) Saenz; seven grandchildren, Lizbeth Olivarez, Madison Olivarez, Lily Olivarez, Karina Saenz, Ella Saenz, Aaron Saenz Jr., Angel Saenz; two siblings, Melva Ramirez, Maria Lourdes Canales; sister-in-law, Maria Manuelita Olivarez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
