MARCELINO DAVILA JR. 

HARGILL – Marcelino Davila Jr., 83, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, at his residence in Hargill. 

Marcelino was a retired farmer, rancher, and horse trainer and was a lover of all wildlife. Mr. Davila will be missed by all his family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Natividad Davila Sr.; and a sister, Dolores Cortez. 

Mr. Davila is survived by his four children, Rene Xavier Davila, Celine Yvette (Hector) Quintanilla, Travis (Anna) Roznovski, Dr. Edwin Joseph (Heather Baker) Davila; three grandchildren, Olivia Quintanilla, Sara Quintanilla, Alexander Roznovski; and a sister, Eloisa Cavazos. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Monday, September 23, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
