Pharr- Marcela Leonor “Paloma” Cerda, 91, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, at her residence in Pharr.
Preceded in death by her husband, Agustin Cerda; parents, Miguel Acuna and Rosa Maria Salas, and four siblings.
Marcela is survived by her four children, Rosi Del Carmen Miguel, Miguel Agustin (Rose Mary) Cerda, Marcela Patricia (Oscar Luis) Lopez, and Juan Everardo (Isabel) Cerda; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Sergio Riccardo Acuna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
