Elva Madrigal, 74, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hedelberto and Maria Del Refugio Vela; and a sister, Hortadelia Beltran.
Mrs. Madrigal is survived by her husband, Jose R. Madrigal; two children, Jose (Irma Liliana) Madrigal Jr., Teresa (John "Jack") Goosherst; four grandchildren, Sean Goosherst, Olivia Goosherst, Chloe Goosherst, Nicholes Madrigal; two sisters, Ana Maria Moon, Josefina Espejo; and a brother, Juan Ramon Perez.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary or prayer service Friday, June 17, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
