MACARENA MARTINEZ
ALAMO - Macarena Martinez, 83, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Martinez.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her three children, Hipolito Martinez, Jose Martinez, Jaime (Elia) Martinez; eight grandchildren; six siblings, Irma Montes, Minerva (Humberto) Barrios, Maria (Guadalupe) Martinez, Omar (Frances) Garza, Dora Villanueva, and Alonzo (Sylvia) Garza.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, December 22, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
