LYDIA L. HERNANDEZ
EDINBURG - Lydia L. Hernandez, 89, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Hernandez; great-granddaughter, Modesty Bernett; and her parents Julian De Luna and Teofila Tijerina.
Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her daughter, Maria Isabel Jones (Ignacio) Salas; three grandchildren, Modesy Jones, Aaron Jones, Colton Salas; numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Teresa Hernandez Valdez and Lupita Hernandez.
Visitation will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
