Lydia J. Martinez Cantu, 67, died Monday, May 27, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio.
She is survived by her husband, Luis A. Cantu; three daughters, Christy Garza, Aleida N. Garza Palacios, Angela L. Cantu; a step-son, Brandon Cantu; seven grandchildren; eight siblings, Magdaleno Martinez, Jr., Maria Luisa Gomez, Rosalinda Martinez, Jose Antonio Martinez, Benigno Martinez, Francisco Martinez, Thomas Martinez, Juan J. Martinez; and a step-brother, Guadalupe Salinas.
Visitation will be held at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
