LUZ IRENE MAGALLAN
SAN JUAN- Luz Irene Magallan, 65, died Monday, February 16, 2026, at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Juanita Lujan; two brothers, Ricardo Lujan and Alberto Lujan; and two sisters, Rosalinda Vargas and Elva Reyes.
Luz Irene is survived by her husband, Ruben Magallan; three children, Magdalena Magallan, Maritza Magallan and Michael David Magallan; two grandchildren, Daren Lee and Devani Renae Garcia; and seven siblings, Jose Francisco Lujan, Juan Mateo Lujan, Javier Lujan, Sergio Lujan, Antonio Lujan, Noelia Delgado and Eugenio Lujan.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Cremation will follow at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
