Luis Angel "El Ginger" Hernandez

Luis Angel "El Ginger" Hernandez, 16, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jesus Hernandez Garcia; maternal grandfather, Jose Luis Gutierrez; and his godfather, Jesus Hernandez Santana.

Mr. Hernandez is survived by his parents, Jorge Alberto Hernandez and Juana Hernandez; six siblings, Estrella G. Hernandez, Jorge A. Hernandez, Joaquin Hernandez, Erick Hernandez, Ruby Hernandez, and Jesus R. Hernandez; paternal grandmother, Orelia Hernandez; maternal grandmother, Delia Oralia Sarmiento; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
