Luis Flores

PHARR – Luis Flores, 71, died Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Margarita Flores; three brothers, Gumaro, Simon, and Jorge Flores.

Mr. Flores is survived by his wife of 52 years, Adela Flores of Pharr; four children, Noelia (Javier Ortega) Flores, Natalie Nicole Flores, Louis Michael Flores, all of Pharr, Nelissa Nadine Flores (Ricky) Sanchez of Mission; four siblings, Arturo Flores, Olga F. Valdez, Nora F. Garcia, and Martha F. Tamez, all of Pharr; three grandchildren, Virginia Renee Ortega, Javier Luis Ortega, and Zoey Noelle Flores.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday 14, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
