RAMON LUERA EDINBURG — Ramon Luera, 84, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at his residence in Edinburg. Born in Edinburg, he had lived there all of his life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Audelia Luera and Dominga Ortega; two brothers, Jorge and Humberto Luera. Ramon is survived by two brothers, Ponciano Luera and Vivian Luera; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 2, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
