PHARR - Roy Lucio, 48, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at his residence in Pharr.
Born in McAllen, Mr. Lucio was formerly of Alamo and had lived in Pharr for the past 18 years.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Elva Lucio.
Mr. Lucio is survived by his wife, Terry Lucio of Pharr; two daughters, Sarah Lucio of Chicago, Illinois, Karissa Cristina Lucio of Pharr; two stepdaughters, Mariella Yarritu Sisk of Austin, Texas, Lorena Yarritu of Pharr; three grandchildren, Madelyn Eve Balderas, Savannah Rodriguez and Hunter Wyatt Sisk; his father, Joe (Rosario) Lucio of Alamo; two brothers, Rudy (Estela) Lucio of Alamo, David Lucio of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Alicia Marroquin of Temple, Texas, Belinda (Louie) Luna of Edinburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, October 9, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2009 at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
