GUADALUPE S. LOPEZ
EDINBURG – Guadalupe S. Lopez, 92, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in McAllen, Mrs. Lopez had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ciprian “George” Lopez, Sr.
Mrs. Lopez is survived by four sons, Ciprian (Maria) Lopez, Jr. of Kingsville, Homero David Lopez of Pasadena, Noe Roberto Lopez of San Antonio, Jay (Vangie) Lopez of Austin; four daughters, Evangelina L. (Exiquio “Zeke”) Salinas, Elizabeth Lopez, both of Austin, Lydia L. (+Rod) Sanchez, Cynthia (Joe) Hinojosa, both of Edinburg; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Windsor Arborview for the love and care which she received during her stay. Also, their appreciation to Rosalinda Ruiz, her provider and friend.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
