EMMA LYDIA LOPEZ
EDINBURG – Emma Lydia Lopez, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Seferino Avila and Rosa Salinas; and seven siblings.
Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband, David Lopez; six children, David (San Juana) Lopez Jr., Marissa (David) Shadrock, Ruth Aguilera, Yolette (Richard) Reyna, Priscilla (Manny) De Leon, Derick Lopez; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hilaria Bazan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Edinburg.
