IGNACIO “JESUS” LEAL ALAMO — Ignacio “Jesus” Leal, 86, died Tuesday April 15, 2014, at McAllen Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his wife, Josefina Barrera Leal; his parents, Luciano Q. and Sara Leal; a brother, Esteban Leal; and two sons, Ignacio Leal, Jr. and Juan Leal. Mr. Leal is survived by his seven children, Luciana (Gilberto) Villarreal, Luciano (Sylvia) Leal, Olga (Rolando) Guajardo, Armando (Lulu) Leal, Elva (Leonel) Villalpaldo, Raul (Leticia) Leal, and Humberto Leal; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great- grandchildren. A prayer service was held Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. today, April 16, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
