JOSE LUIS LARA

EDINBURG – Jose Luis Lara, 52, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Edinburg.
Mr. Lara was born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico and had lived in Edinburg all
of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Martina Lara; and a brother, Gonzalo Lara.
Mr. Lara is survived by his wife, Sandra Lara; four children, Jose Luis(Annabel) Lara, Jr., Liza Lee Lara, Emmanuel D. Sanchez, Sarah S. Salinas,all of Edinburg; five grandchildren; five sisters, Carmen L. (Henry)Clayton, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Ester (Greg Hayn) Martinez, of San
Antonio, Texas, Lupita (Robert) Lopez, Anita Lara, both of McAllen, Isabel(Madaleno) Puente, of Farmer’s Branch, Texas; a brother, Juan Alberto(Nora) Lara, of Hargill; a nephew, Gonzalo(Cindy) Lara, Jr., of Laredo;
and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, April 9, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 E. Canton, in Edinburg.
Funeral service will be at 10 am Friday, April 10, 2009, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Hargill. Interment will follow at Valle De La Paz Cemetery in Hargill. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
