JULISSA ELIZABETH HERNANDEZ
PHARR – Julissa Elizabeth Hernandez, 29, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Del Carmen Becerra.
Julissa is survived by her son, Elian Zair Hernandez; her father, Moises Hernandez; four sisters, Isayana Delgadillo, Klarissa Del Angel, Melissa Cruz, Samantha Becerra; an aunt who raised her, Veronica (Reyes) Varela; and their children, Anthony Varela, Manuel varela, Jaziel Varela, and Adelmaris Varela.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, November 2, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
