Alamo-- Julio Gaytan, 51, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Serveriano Gaytan and Amelia Posada.
Julio is survived by his wife, Adriana Rodriguez; four children, Amelia Gaytan, Julio Gaytan Jr., Bryan Gaytan, Aylin Gaytan; and 11 siblings, Luisa Cota, Amelia Morales, Irene Gaytan, Miguel Gaytan, Andrea Gaytan, Elena Gaytan,Enrique Gaytan, Norma Gaytan, Lucila Gaytan, Araceli Gaytan, Claudia Gaytan.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Thursday, August 13,2026 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
