SAN JUAN- Juanita A. Hernandez, 79, died Friday, April 26, 2024, at McAllen Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Florentino Hernandez Sr.; her parents, Alfredo Alvarado and Gregoria Ramos; six siblings, Pede, Pidio, Mariana, Ramiro, Armando, Maria; a grandson, Joey; and two angels.
Mrs. Hernandez is survived by seven children, Florentino (Beate) Hernandez, Jose (Sandra) Hernandez, Stella Hernandez, Jesse (Claudia) Hernandez, Ruben (Gabby) Hernandez, Elizabeth (Lucas) Rodriguez, Roy (Janeth) Hernandez; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Tivo, Frank, Cecilio, Elvira, Ismelda, Irma, and Martina.
Visitation will be begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, April 29, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday April 30, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Church in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
