Juan Saenz Villarreal, 79, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Otila Chavez de Saenz; his parents, Jose Angel Saenz and Melecia Villarreal; two siblings, Jesus Saenz and Tomasita Saenz.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his four children, Sonia Ruiz, Tadeo Saenz, Ruby Flores, Betty Rebollar; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nine siblings, Saul Saenz, Macario Saenz, Sergio Saenz, Cruz Saenz, Jose Angel Saenz, Jr., Felicitas Reyna San Juanita Villarreal, Angelica Saenz and Dora Aguilar.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Monday, June 15, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
