Juan R. Martinez, 67, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at his residence in Pharr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo Martinez & Elena Ramirez; a sister, Kristina Sifuentes; a granddaughter, Sylvia Monique Flores; and his first wife, Anita Martinez.

Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Irma Martinez; six children, Sylvia (Noe) Martinez, Cynthia (Jason) Dew, Alejandra (Roberto) Montes, David (Lucero) Montes, Daniel (Angie) Montes, and Diego (Jolene) Montes; nine grandchildren; and a brother, Arturo (Juanita) Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment of cremated remains will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2023, at San Juan Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
