EDINBURG - Juan Jose Estrada, 83, died Friday, January 23, 2026, at his residence in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mario Estrada; his parents, Eulogio and Cruz Estrada; six siblings, Rosita Estrada, Maria Estrada, Juana Guerra, Eufracia Gonzalez, Jose Angel Estrada, and Candelaria Estrada.
Mr. Estrada is survived by his wife, Aurora Estrada; ten children, Juan Jose Estrada, Jr., Consuelo Estrada, Carlos Estrada, Jose Angel Estrada, Claudia Estrada Miller, Juana Estrada, Aurora Estrada, Reyna Estrada, Estella Estrada, Eric Estrada; 41 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margarita Cerda.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, January 26, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
