JUAN JAIME ECHEVARRIA

EDINBURG – Juan Jaime Echevarria, 57, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Alisia Calvillo Echevarria; parents, Juan Echevarria and Maria Antoneta Silerio.

Mr. Echevarria is survived by his three children, Stephanie Denise Ruiz, Juan Antonio Echevarria, Stephanie Marie Cedillo; eight grandchildren, Hailey M. Ruiz, Diego V. Ruiz, Sofia I. Ruiz, Elijah Echevarria, Jazlynn Allison Echevarria, Isaiah Echevarria, Mariah Barajas, Mercedes Barajas; a great-granddaughter, Avianna Iynae Solis; two sisters, Veronica Silerio Gaytan and Maritza Echevarria.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton, in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
