Josefina Rodriguez Cervantes, died Friday, September 18, 2026, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her four siblings, Mario Rodriguez Cervantes, Juana Rodriguez Cervantes, Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Jesus Rodriguez Cervantes.
She is survived by her seven children, Rosalinda Alaniz, Juan Delgadillo, Francisco Soto, Beatriz Garza, Maria Teresa Robles, Juan Jose Robles, Pamela Robles; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; a sister, Domitila Bocanegra; and a brother, Javier Salazar Cervantes.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
