JOSEFINA MORIN
ALAMO – Josefina Morin, 71, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Antonio Morin; parents, Juan Vicente and Paula Torres; and brother, Merced Torres.
Mr. Morin is survived by his six children, Rene Enrique (Beatriz Rodriguez) Morin, Evangelinga (Jose Alejandro) Munoz, Sylvia Marie Jimenez, Rachel Yvette Mendoza, Juan Antonio (Joelda) Morin Jr., Matthew Adam (Dayanira) Morin; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; six siblings, Juan Torres Jr., Guadalupe Torres, Arturo Torres, Jose Torres, Cesar Torres, and Maria Magdalena Torres-Badillo.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
