EDINBURG – Jose Juan Soto, 78, entered eternal rest Sunday, August 13, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Soto was a lifelong resident of Edinburg and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, IsabelSoto; and six siblings, Micaela Flores, Rafaela Sanchez, George Soto, Arcelia Campos, Mary Ellen Flores, Concepcion Hernandez.

Mr. Soto is survived by his four children, Jose Juan “JJ” (Sandra) Soto Jr., Gabriel (Jeannie) Soto, Christina Isabel (Gabby) Ortiz-Soto, Miguel (Monica) Soto, all of Edinburg; nine grandchildren, Mikaela Medrano, Meagan Medrano, Joaquin Soto, Lauren Soto, Julian Soto, Miranda Medrano, Matthew Soto, Misabel Soto, Mariano Soto; and five siblings, Eva Pineda, Guadalupe Garza, Paula Zepeda, all of Edinburg, Hortencia Salinas of Denton, and Jesse Soto of Houston.
