JOSE L. SALINAS
SAN JUAN – Jose L. Salinas, 74, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at South Texas Health System in McAllen.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Estolia Salinas; and a sister, Estela Salinas.
He is survived by his wife, Cirila Salinas; children, Jose L. Salinas Jr., Oscar Salinas, Cristina Salinas, Criselda (Marcial) Ponce, Eberado Salinas, and Julio C. (Dulce) Salinas ; seven grandchildren; and four siblings, Juan Salinas, Javier Salinas, Romana Salinas, Mati Salinas, and Sabina Salinas.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
