MCALLEN- Jose Carlos Perez, 72, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.
Jose Carlos proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force, embodying honor, integrity, and dedication throughout his service.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, Jose Luis and Pauline Perez; and a brother, Luis Omar Perez.
Jose Carlos is survived by his four children, Jose Carlos Jr. (Aidin) Perez, Lydia Amanda (Charles) Cooper, Veronica Denise (Benjamin) Logan, Venessa Anne Perez; seven grandchildren, Victoria Elise Perez, John Evan Perez, Arthur Pifer, Penelope Olivia Phillips, Roger Erik Perez, Clark Elliot Perez, Bruce Edward Perez; and four siblings, Minerva Silva, Sylvia Perez, Armando (Jennifer) Perez and Xavier Perez.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
