Jose Duarte Pena

Jose Duarte Pena, 82, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at McAllen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Pena and Mercedes Duarte; brothers, Antonio Pena, Jesus Pena, and Erasmo Pena; and a sister, Irma Pena.
Mr. Pena is survived by his wife, San Juana Pena; two children, Patricia (Rogelio Jr.) Cardenas and Juan Pablo (Alicia) Pena Jr; four grandchildren, Rogelio (Ruby) Cardenas III, Jonathan Andrew Pena, Jenna Rae Pena, and Juan Pablo Pena Jr.; and a brother, Gilberto Pena.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, July 17, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
