JOSE BENAVIDES LEAL
EDINBURG - Jose Benavides Leal, 76, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, at McAllen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria F. Leal; parents, Nicolas Leal and Bernardina Benavides; three siblings, Pedro, Juan, and Gilbert Leal.
Mr. Leal is survived by his four children, Rigoberto Leal, Ana Morales, Alex (Mariana) Leal, David Leal; four grandchildren, Rebecca Adalee Gonzalez, Giovanna R. Dominique Leal, Dorian D’Metrio Leal, Genavie D-Ann Morales; a great-grandchild, Marshall James Martinez; six siblings, Hortencia Leal, Raquel Flores, Isaura Cisneros, Norma Casares, Viola Hinojosa, and Oscar Leal.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
