Round Rock, TX – Jose “Joe” Antonio Flores Sr, 87 years old, was called home to be with our Lord on Sunday June 1, 2025, at his home in Round Rock, surrounded by his family.

Joe was born on February 4, 1938, in Pharr, Texas, to the late Antonio and Domitilda Flores. He moved to Chicago, Il in 1957 to start his career in manufacturing. He met his wife Gloria in 1965 and married her on August 25th, 1967. Chicago was where he lived for 66 years with his wife and son but for “Coco” home was always Texas. His love for baseball and football grew in Chicago with the White Sox and Bears. He was a hard- working man who provided for his family and devoted his life to them. He was a loyal employee of Pathfinder and ITW for over 45 years. After retiring, he enjoyed gardening, walking, watching television and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents Antonio and Domitilda Flores; siblings, Noe (+Estela) Flores, Maria (+Luis) Torres, Jose (+Antonia) Flores, Israel (Maria Luisa) Flores, Silverio (Blanca) Flores, Vicky (+Daniel) Hernandez and Moy (Alicia) Flores.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gloria (Hernandez) Flores; and his son, Joe (Toni) Flores; two grandchildren Rebecca and Lucas Flores; his great granddaughter, Chrysanthemum Moreno; and his sister Camila Martinez.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Sunday June 8, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at La Trinidad Methodist Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
